Quick Tour

Welcome to Samvise! This quick tour will help you understand the main areas of the interface and how to navigate the app.

Dashboard Overview

When you first log in, you'll see your dashboard—the central hub for managing your tasks and schedule.

The dashboard is divided into several key areas:

  • Task List - Your tasks in the center
  • Calendar View - Visual timeline on the right
  • AI Rail - AI assistant panel on the right (toggle with ])
  • Top Bar - User menu, settings, and notifications

The sidebar is your primary navigation tool. Click any item to switch views:

Schedule - See your upcoming scheduled blocks and what you'll be working on

Settings - Configure your account, preferences, time windows, and integrations

Task List View

The task list shows all your tasks in an organized format:

Filter Bar - Filter by status (Active, Completed, All), priority, or time window

Sort Options - Sort by priority, due date, created date, or manually

New Task Button - Click to create a new task quickly

Task Rows - Each task shows:

  • Title

  • Scheduled status

Inline Actions - Click a task to open its details, or use quick actions:

  • Check the box to mark complete (an Undo button appears in case you didn't mean it)
  • Edit or delete from the task's menu

Calendar View

The calendar view gives you a visual overview of your schedule:

Your Events - Google Calendar events appear in their original colors

Scheduled Tasks - Tasks scheduled by Samvise appear in the "App Schedule" calendar

Busy Blocks - Grayed-out areas show when you're unavailable

Resize Blocks - Adjust task duration by dragging the edges

Click Events - Click any event or task block to see details or edit

AI Chat Panel

The AI chat assistant is accessible from any dashboard page:

Open Chat - Click the AI rail on the right or press ]

Message Input - Type natural language commands at the bottom

Fresh by Default - Opening chat starts a new conversation; previous chats live in the history list
